Downtown Hillsborough & Surrounding Areas

Historic Hillsborough is a quaint area just a few miles from Chapel Hill. The downtown area hosts a variety of restaurants and has a nice small town feel. Plans for the current town date back to 1766, the essence of which is still reflected in what can be seen there today. Georgian and Federal style architecture along with Craftsman are represented in the homes throughout Hillsborough.
